New information has come to light concerning the shocking passing of renowned film director Rob Reiner and visual artist Michele Singer Reiner, whose bodies were found at their Brentwood, Los Angeles home on Sunday.

The Discovery

As detailed in an account quoting a confidential source, a massage therapist arriving for an session first raised the alarm after not being able to enter the residence. The therapist then reached out to the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who resides nearby.

When she went into the house, Romy found her father's body. Accounts indicate she then left the home distraught, not realizing at that moment that her mother's body was there as well. A companion who had accompanied her contacted 911. Subsequently, paramedics discovered Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Criminal Proceedings

The police have charged the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with two counts of premeditated murder, as well as the use of a dangerous weapon, said to be a knife. He is now being held and denied bail.
